Casas Mágicas is a collection of upscale apartments in Mexico City offering curated, design-focused stays for travelers seeking a personal, elevated hospitality experience.

01. Context + Background

Casas Mágicas wanted to create a more memorable and seamless stay for guests: one that felt personal, curated, and reflective of Mexico City’s creative spirit. Unlike typical short-term rentals, the experience needed to go beyond convenience and deliver thoughtful, hospitality-driven moments that felt both elevated and human.

02. My Role

I led the guest experience and brand touchpoint strategy, designing moments of connection across the physical and digital journey.

  • Created in-room guides, digital welcome materials, and branded touchpoints

  • Designed surprise-and-delight experiences based on guest context (birthdays, anniversaries, wellness)

  • Curated local partnerships for grocery boxes, spa kits, and custom add-ons

  • Styled interior vignettes and selected product placements for shareable moments

  • Helped elevate the perceived value of the stay through personalized, premium details

04. Approach / Solution

My approach was rooted in hospitality thinking, combining functionality with surprise. I designed a modular guest experience that allowed the property owner to offer custom add-ons, seasonal packages, and beautifully designed guides that reflected the apartment’s warm, modern aesthetic. Branded moments like handmade welcome cards, spa kits with local ingredients, and curated city recommendations elevated the stay and supported repeat bookings and referrals.

05. Results / Impact

  • Increased guest satisfaction and repeat bookings through elevated brand experience

  • Added value through curated experiences that guests shared socially and reviewed positively

  • Created a guest experience playbook that could be easily applied across properties
