I crafted an intuitive end-to-end UX/UI for the Rayse iOS/Android app, creating distinct yet cohesive experiences for both clients and agents. By focusing on clarity, simplicity, and user-friendly navigation, I improved accessibility across the platform.

This approach ensured a smoother home-buying process, increased engagement, and heightened transparency between clients and real estate agents.

Overview

Rayse is a real estate platform designed to enhance transparency and simplify the home-buying process. The platform offers two distinct experiences: one for homebuyers (clients) and one for real estate agents. The goal was to create an intuitive, easy-to-use app that improves communication and streamlines complex real estate transactions.

The Challenge

The real estate process can often feel overwhelming and disjointed, with limited visibility for both clients and agents. Rayse needed a mobile app that would provide clear, transparent interactions between the two sides while improving overall user engagement and trust in the platform.

Approach

As the lead UX/UI designer, I was responsible for the entire end-to-end design of the Rayse mobile app, developing cohesive yet distinct experiences for both clients and agents on iOS and Android platforms. I aimed to make the app a one-stop solution for simplifying real estate processes while ensuring that both user groups could efficiently achieve their goals.

  • Dual-Portal Experience: Created two distinct user journeys—one for homebuyers and one for real estate agents—ensuring each side had customized features to meet their specific needs.

    • Client Side: Designed for ease of use, transparency, and peace of mind. Clients can track the status of their home-buying journey, view property details, schedule visits, and communicate directly with their agent.

    • Agent Side: Developed a feature-rich portal for agents to manage listings, track client progress, and maintain clear communication. It also includes tools for efficiently handling multiple clients and properties.

    • Transparent Communication: Implemented real-time notifications, message tracking, and updates to keep both clients and agents informed at every stage of the process, reducing uncertainty and enhancing trust.

      • Simplified Navigation: Ensured a frictionless, intuitive user interface with easy navigation, minimizing learning curves for both new and experienced users.

      • Data-Driven Design: Used insights from user research to prioritize key features such as property tracking, agent profiles, and document sharing, aligning the design with user needs.
